My name is Nicole Gough. I live in Bonavista, NL and teach at Catalina Elementary School in Catalina, NL. I am curently working toward my Masters in Education - Information Technology with MUN and CBU.
I am married with a 10 1/2 month old and a 9 year old step son. Life is certainly busy but it is definitely worth it!
The major event that happens in chapter four is when Johnny and Ponyboy get jump by the Socs from the blue mustang. They threaten to “give Ponyboy a bath” and dunk him into the fountain almost drowning him. Johnny gets really scared and stabbed a Soc with the switchblade he keeps in his back pocket. Johnny and Ponyboy head to Dally and he tells them what to do to escape getting captured by the “fuzz”.
A major event that happens in chapter four, is when Dally hits Ponyboy and then he runs away with Johnny. Then a bunch of Socs come and try to drown PonyBoy in a water fountain. Johnny grabbed his switchblade then stabed one of the socs and killed him. Then the rest of the socs ran away. Then Johnny and Ponyboy went and got Darry to help them. He gave them some money and clothes, and a place for them to run and hide. Then they went and ran away.
The major event that happens in ch.4 was that johnny stabbed and killed one of the socs. It all happened because the boys picked up a couple of soc girls at the outdoor movie. The girls left their boyfriends because they were drunk and they went to the movie and had a great time with pony and johnny and the boys. The boys walked the girls home and the mustang passed them without realizing them. The mustang when by again and there was almost a fight until the girls gave in and got in the car. Later that night johnny and pony were in the park because Darry hit pony when he came home late so the two ran away to the quiet of the park. The mustang came again and the boys got rowdy. One of them started to drown pony in the fountain so johnny pulled the switchblade and stabbed one of them to death.
The major event that happens in chapter four is that Johnny kills the Soc. This happens in the park by the fountain. Johnny kills the soc because he was drowning Pony Boy. The soc was drunk while he was doing this. The soc was drowning Pony Boy because he was out with his girlfriend Cherry Valance. Then Johnny and Pony Boy run away because Johnny would go to the electric chair if the cops got a hold of him and Pony Boy would go to a reformative school.
The major event that happened in chapter 4 is that Johnny killed Bob; a soc boy. He didn’t mean too but Bob was killing Ponyboy. After Johnny killed the Soc boy they went to Darry; he gave them a loaded gun and 50 dollars. Ponyboy boy was soaked because of the Soc trying to drown him so Darry gave him his big woolly sweater. Then Darry told him to go to a place called Windrixville on the train; then ask the first person you see where Jay Mountain is. They went there, and fell asleep.
In chapter 4 the major event that happens is dally hits ponyboy and then he runs away and he finds Johnny on the ground lying down by the vacant lot and ponyboy goes over to see if anything happened and than some soc’s pulled up in a blue mustang and got out saying things to Johnny and pony boy and they tried to drown ponyboy and than Johnny pulled out the switchblade and killed a soc.

They get jumped by the Socs and one of them dunks Ponyboy’s head underwater, almost drowning him. Jonny was afraid that they were and he took out his switch blade and killed one of the Soc’s guys that were doing it to him. Jonny and Ponyboy had to get Dally at a bar and ask him for help on what to do and where to go to escape the fuzz. (The Cops.)

This happen but the pool, Ponyboy and Darrel got into a fight and Darrel hit Ponyboy and Ponyboy and Johnny ran up to the pool, then when Ponyboy and Johnny were trying to relax they heard a horn and they looked over and saw a blue mutagen, and it was the socs, Johnny wanted to run away put Ponyboy said it was to late because they were already headed towards them, the socs had a switchblade, and Ponyboy wished he had a glass bottle so he could smash it up. There were 5 socs, two of the socs were Randy and Bob, the socs girls, boyfriends. Ponyboy and Johnny tried to run away but one of the socs crabed Ponyboys arm and twisted it behind his back, shoved his face into the fountain, Ponyboy was trying to fight back and get away, but the soc had his hand on the back of Ponyboys neck, Before Ponyboy knew it he was lied on the pavement, beside the fountain, Ponyboy just stayed lead down, weakly. Ponyboy sat up and looked at Johnny , Johnny was jsut sat there with his elbow on his knee , and he was just staring straight ahead, Johnnys eyes were wide open. Johnny told Ponyboy he killed the soc that tried to drown Ponyboy. The boys name that Johnny killed was, Bob. Bob was just lying there in the moonlight, motionless, a dark pool of blood was growing from him, spreading over the blue white cement. Johnny was cluching his switchblade, and it was dark to the hilt.
A major event that happend in chapter 4 is that johnny and ponyboy were walking down the road and a blue mustange were comeing toward then with socs inside saying greasers. Five socs jumped out and grabed ponyboy and were trying to drown him in a fountin and Johnny paniced and got scaried and pulled out his switch blade and killed one of the soc's that were tring to kill pony. his name was Bob.
