My name is Nicole Gough. I live in Bonavista, NL and teach at Catalina Elementary School in Catalina, NL. I am curently working toward my Masters in Education - Information Technology with MUN and CBU.
I am married with a 10 1/2 month old and a 9 year old step son. Life is certainly busy but it is definitely worth it!
6: If Johnny and Ponyboy came to me for advice I wouldn’t know what to say because I am not very good with advice and I have never dealt with a situation like that.
If Johnny and Ponyboy came to me for advice, I would maybe tell the that they should tell the cops and everything that happened that night. Then maybe the cops wouldn't put Johnny in the electric chair, because it wouldn't really his fault. He tried to save his friends life. If he never killed the on that was trying to kill Ponyboy, then the socs would of end up killing someone.
My advice to the boys wouldn't be the prettiest. Since we are living in a whole different world today i would of told them to turn themselves in because if they got caught by the fuz or the cops it would just get worse because they would be charged of felony.
If Johnny and Ponyboy came to me looking for advice instead of going to Dally I would tell them right away to leave the area. I would give them some money to buy food to keep them alive. I would give them a weapon to help fend off any more trouble that the Socs or the “fuzz” would give them. I would tell them to change their appearance as much as possible because the police would have a picture of them from recently. I would tell them to stay out of sight until they are completely sure that the area is clear.
If Ponyboy and Johnny would have come to me instead of Johnny, I wouldn’t know what to do or say. I’d probably tell them to turn themselves in because I don’t want to be put in jail for helping you get away, or anything at that.
If Johnny and ponyboy came to me and asked for advice of what to do because Johnny stabbed the guy I would tell them to change their appearance for until the heat is gone down and until then for them to stay low for a while like hide in a friends house and if the fuzz goes there to look for them to hide them somewhere outside until the fuzz is gone.
If Johnny and Ponyboy came to me instead of Dally I would tell them to get out of town as fast as they could. I would give them more than one gun and I would also give them as much ammo as I had. Then I would tell them to go to a town on the other side of the country. Then I would tell them that I would come and see them every second weekend. Just for some extra insurance that the police don’t find them I would tell the police that they went to Canada. Then I would give them all the money I had and tell them to pay me back after the police got off their back. Finally I would send them off on a stowaway train.
my advive to Ponyboy and Johnny would be to turn themselves in , and try to make things better. Tell the cops EVERYTHIGN that happened that night, and tell them it wasn't meant to happen, Bon getting killed and all. Tell them your gunna try to make things right , and your gunna try to stay out of trouble. and if that don't work, try your hardest to stay clam and not to freak out and spend your time in jail , and when you guys get out , start all over agian.
I would tell them just to go to the police and tell them the truth instead of running away from the cops, and if they didn’t listen then I would tell them to go somewhere else and change their names and everything.
If Jonny and Ponyboy had came to me instead of Dally, the advice I would give them is to go to the cop and turn yourselves in because it is the best thing to do instead of hiding away trying to not get caught. I would also tell them to tell the cops everything that went on last night at the mugging and describe that they were in a situation of life and death and something was going to happen to Ponyboy because they were drowning. Maybe the cops would understand and not put them in the electric chair and just press charges against them.
If ponyboy and Johnny had come to me instead of dally i would of give them the advice to turn them selves in and not to run away because they can not keep running away forever and maybe if they had turned them selves in they probaly wouldnt have a bad consaquinces is what theyll have if they get cought now.
If Ponyboy and Johnny came to me instead of Dally for advise I would tell them they should tell the cops what they done that night instead of them looking for them everywhere because the cops probably will find them one of these days and they will get into more trouble than what they would of if they turned there self’s in.

I would tell them to say to the police that it was for self defence, because the socs were about to kill ponyboy. Then maybe the police wouldnt do anything to them. For telling the truth.
