My name is Nicole Gough. I live in Bonavista, NL and teach at Catalina Elementary School in Catalina, NL. I am curently working toward my Masters in Education - Information Technology with MUN and CBU.
I am married with a 10 1/2 month old and a 9 year old step son. Life is certainly busy but it is definitely worth it!
I think ponyboy means that the gang cant get along right without johnny. Just as much as he couldn't get along right without his whole gang. Johnny is their gangs pet, and everyone loves johnny.
When Pony says "We needed Johnny as much as he needed the gand. And for the same reason". He means that Johnny is like a brother to the boys and he depends on the gang not his parents and family. The gang needs Johnny because he's a member and a part of the brotherhood and sometimes the gang relies on him. The reason for this is that the gang relies on each-other.
20: I think pony means life would be different and strange without Johnny being there. I think the reason is that some of the gang has no one to help them when they get in a mess or has something they need to talk about.
Pony means that the gang needs Johnny a lot and if he were to die the gang would be nothing. Johnny is the gangs pet; he keeps them all together and keeps them from tearing each other’s heads off. He is a good fighter and can hold his tongue around the cops.
I think that Ponyboy means that without the gang Johnny wouldn’t have anyone to keep him on the right path. The gang does this because Johnny’s parents won’t take care of him so the gang does it for them. If I was a member of the gang I would feel very sorry for Johnny. This also goes for the gang because Johnny is the one who keeps them together and Johnny keeps them from doing stupid things like killing people for no reason. It’s amazing because the guy whose parents don’t care acts the most parent like in the group.
"We needed Johnny as much as he needed the gang. And for the same reason" Ponyboy means that without Johnny they wouldn’t of none what it was like to get beat up by their parents, and since that happened Johnny made the gang come together like a family.
I think that Ponyboy means that the gang can't get along right without Jonny because everone loves him and he is the gang's pet. They are all like brothers and they depend on eachother and help when somebody is in trouble. Jonny also stops his gang from getting into to many fights and killing people. Just keeps everone together well but sometimes they might get into fights but not bloodly ones because Jonny is in their minds.

Ponyboy means that everyone in the gang knows what Johnny goes through with his mother and father, and they all want to be there for him , and keep him safe. ponyboy means that Johnny keeps everyone together in the gang, gives them a reason to stay a gang and stay together.
