I think that dally’s parents do have a affect on the way that dally acts and thinks because in the story the author mentions that dally’s parents don’t care what he does and where is all the time and where he sleeps...
Yes I think that the way Dally acts is based on the way his parents treat him. In the novel it talks about his parents not caring where he is. He could be in jail for all they care, and they don't care where he goes. His parents act like they don’t want him and he tries to get involved in things good or bad to get rid and forget the way his parents treat him.
12: I think that Dally’s parents have influenced his personality a little bit because he couldn’t have gotten his personality off of himself. He had to have someone who made him have the personality he has.
Yes I think that Dally’s parents influenced him to be the way he is. No matter what age your child is you can still influence them positively or negatively. His parents didn’t care about him and his parents argued with him all the time. His parents didn’t want him so he tried to make himself known to them by smoking and drinking, shoplifting and fighting, but it didn’t work. He gave up on his parents and fended for himself and the gang. He forgot about his parents because they didn’t care about him.
Yes I think Dally acts the way he does because his parents dont care and now he dont care ether. Dally could be set for death and his parents would not give a care. the only ones that cares for Dally id Darry and the gang.
Yes think Dally parents have influenced the way he behaves because he acts tough and doesn’t care about anyone. He acts like this because his parents never took enough interest in him to tell him to care about other people. Also he acts tough because he had to, to be able to fend for himself when he was a kid. It says in the book that Dally’s parents don’t care if he’s run away or if he’s in jail. It also says that Dally sleeps where ever he can.

He acts like his parents in some ways like don’t care, dangerous to be around, gets into trouble a lot, and is sometimes mean. But when Jonny and Ponyboy came to him for help he helped him a lot and done things for them. It shows that he isn’t that all mean but he also cares about people a lot.
