My name is Nicole Gough. I live in Bonavista, NL and teach at Catalina Elementary School in Catalina, NL. I am curently working toward my Masters in Education - Information Technology with MUN and CBU.
I am married with a 10 1/2 month old and a 9 year old step son. Life is certainly busy but it is definitely worth it!
I think that Ponyboy would rather anyone's hate that pity because when someone pity’s you it makes you feel weak and also makes you feel like you need help to get out of something. But when you have someone's hate it means that they hate you for something that you did. And if someone hates you for something that you did that it has to be a pretty big thing. They would pity pony for Johnny and Dally dying but they would hate him and his friend Johnny for killing Bob.
Pony would rather someone's hate than their pity because Johnny died for a reason, he sove the kids. Poeple come up and say oh what a sin to Pony because that was his best friend. To go through so much pain because of what happened to him. Pony would rather someone hate him Johnny because he did something for someone else and died and he was mad doing it. Pity is when you do somethinmg because you feel bad for someone else.
I think ponyboy woudl rather have someone's hate then someones pity because if someone gives him pity it makes him feel like he needs help to get out of things and makeds him feel week. He'd rather have someone hate him then someone pity him.
i think PonyBoy would rather someones hate then pity because when someone has pity on you they are always feeling bad and always there for you ; helping you and trying to help you ; when you and they know that they aren't helping and they know that you mighten get through something as easy as you can get through other things ; and when someone hates you ; even though it might hurt as much as anything, you don't always have to be there with them, and some people that hate you, they think you care that they hate you but sometimes , when people hate you , your better off with out them, but jsut as much as you hate them , you wish you could have one time to talk to them , and conect with them, like in the book were Randy is talking to Ponyboy in his car, they conected.
Ponyboy would rather have someone’s hate then pity, because if someone pity’s you then they make you feel sorry for yourself and that you need help to feel better, but if you have someone’s hate then it means that they hate you for doing something, and Ponyboy would rather have their hate for Johnny killing bob then their pity because Johnny and Dally are dead.
I think Ponyboy would rather have somebody's hate than their pity because when you are being pitied you feel like you can't do anything for yourself. You feel that nothing can go your way and everyone pities you because you do everything wrong. But if people hate you don't need to care what they think, they hate you and that’s that.

Ponyboy didnt want no one feeling bad for him.
