My name is Nicole Gough. I live in Bonavista, NL and teach at Catalina Elementary School in Catalina, NL. I am curently working toward my Masters in Education - Information Technology with MUN and CBU.
I am married with a 10 1/2 month old and a 9 year old step son. Life is certainly busy but it is definitely worth it!
Dally probably wanted to die because he felt bad because Johnny died, and it was all the fires fault. If they would of listened to Dally the wouldn't of died, but hte little kids would of but instead he wanted to be a hero and save them.
Dally would have wanted to die because he just coulsn't take living without Johnny anymore. They were the best of buddies and they looked out for eachother the most. Johnny was the really special thing in Dally's life and thats all he really treasured. When you take away someone's prize possession in life there is no more purpose to live. The only thing that they got up in the morning for is gone. When all they fun is gone in life bad things happen and this was the bad thing.
I think that dally wanted to die because Johnny was the only Person who mattered to him was Johnny. Johnny was the only person who could keep Dally out of trouble. Dally got himself shot because he wanted to be with Johnny again and this time he thought that nobody could ever take him away from him again. Nobody would ever kill Johnny again. I also think that he killed himself because he probably thought that he was to late when he went in after Johnny. He may also feel guilty because he let them go into the burning church. Dally feels there is no reason to live without Johnny.
Dally would have wanted to die because when he lost Johnny he lost a part of himself. Johnny was like his little brother. Once Johnny died Dally had no more reason to live. He was only there on that Earth to help and protect Johnny. He didn't believe that there was any good left in the world after Johnny died, and he had no reason to live so he got himself killed, and he didn't care. He would have rather died than stayed in that painful world.
Dally would probably would want to die because he is really hurted and sad about johnny's death. And that Dally really misses him. JOhnny died because of the fire, he went to save other little kids lives, and he ended up losing his life. Johnyn was a real hero..
Dally probaly wanted to die because he blamed johnnys death on him, Because he was the one that told him and ponyboy to go to the church, then they caught the church on fire; so they went in after the kids.. johnny broke is back, got burned and was surverly injured, so he died. Dallas blamed it on him!
probably wanted to die because he was really close to Johnny and he was really the only one the Dally loved as much as he did. When Johnny and Ponyboy went into the burning church Dally told him not to , and if Ponyboy and Johnny had listened to Dally Johnny wouldn't have died , and I'm guessing dally sorta thinks it's his fault for Johnny's deadth.

I think that Dally wanted to die because he lost one of his best friends, Jonny. He died from a post which broke his back. He wouldn't be able to take it without Jonny in their goup. Jonny was special to them. Dally loved him and he picked up for him whenever sombody said anything to him. Dally also blames himself for Jonny's accident death because he was the one who told Ponyboy and Jonny to go up to the abandon church because they had to run away from town and then that is were things happened. Jonny chose to save those eight kids because he wanted to be a hero.
